Safeguarding Important Documents

We’re still in hurricane season, y’all. After a storm, when you’re without power and you’re trying to assess the damage to your home or business… this is NOT the time to start searching for important documents! Now is the time to consider how best to safeguard vital info. To keep an online copy, you can either purchase a scanner or bring your documents to a local FedEx or Staples store so they can do the scanning. To protect the original documents, you can store them in a waterproof safe or use a safety deposit box at a local bank. What types of documents need protection?
